We are proud to present the new collaboration between the Swiss knife manufacturer Klötzli Messerschmiede and the Italian scissors manufacturer Mille Metri.

The designer Jérôme Rütsche studied industrial design at the École cantonale d‘art de Lausanne (ECAL) Switzerland, and worked for numerous well known Swiss brands. He was tasked by Klötzli Messerschmiede with the challenge of coming up with a new visual approach to one of mankind’s oldest cutting tools and incorporating several technical improvements to create a truly improved cutting experience.

With the combined expertise of Mille Metri and Klötzli Messerschmiede, several new solutions were found and technical improvements were made, resulting in a truly smooth, pleasant and beautiful cut – with a unique „clack“ sound.
„Sisso“ are not only designed for professional use in tailoring and haute couture, but for all users that appreciate accurate and clean cutting of fabric.

The highly precise manufacturing and grinding results in a very smooth action that will help reduce work fatigue. Manufactured using German high performance steel, these scissors are completely hardened at an extremely high level (60 HRC). This ensures that the cutting edge stays sharp for a long time, giving the same feeling and cutting experience you get while using an high end Japanese kitchen knife..
